Zelda Sword Twirl WIP: Blocking II

Did another blocking pass. I was worried about this starting off, but I'm really liking where it's headed now. Don't want to jinx anything, but I'm pleased with how quickly this is going. It's only about 100 frames so this is really the quick "combat" kind of thing I was looking for. And I'd LOVE to have something like this on my reel.

Fingers crossed!

Also...btw...

I'm doing Twitch now? Kinda? Not sure how to feel. Just like this blog, I'm sharing it with no one and I'm not bothering to talk or anything because... well... no one wants to watch someone animate in Maya unless they're a super famous/super good animator- and I am neither of those things- so since I'm just a nooby little student I'm using this live stream thing as a way to stay on task during the day, and it's honestly helping.

Even though no one is actually watching my stream and I'm not talking to anyone, just the pure fact that my computer screen is being broadcast live on the Internet really prevents me from opening other tabs or browsing Facebook or anything. Not that the stream could see it, but I just feel weird having nothing happening on the stream screen for a long period of time. OBS is working my CPU a bit more so it also just feels like a waste if I'm not doing anything.

So we'll see how this goes. This may very likely remain all that it is, or I could do something else with it. I've already tried drawing on Twitch from my tablet, which was cool. There's something about it that's just kind of fun even though I'm doing it "wrong" and not participating. I don't know.
