Swing Test WIP: Spline III + First day of AM

Another spline test. Happy to say it's coming along slow, but sure.

It's amazing what simply drawing over the animation can do. I know people say it all the time, but I feel like sometimes I just neglect it and don't appreciate it enough.

I had a very productive day today. I think a lot has to do with the start of class as well as the fact that I rearranged all the furniture in my room this weekend. I removed my bed and created an office space for myself and I couldn't be happier about it. I pushed an extra desk I had next to my regular desk and now I have so much more workspace and I can have my notes and text books next to me ready and handy. I feel like I can think and I don't have to work in the same room that I sleep which is super nice.

It's definitely refreshing and I really prefer having my back to a wall and facing out instead of facing the wall.

So first day of class was today! And I watched all of the lecture material this morning. It was a lot of introductory things just talking about animation and the industry and I found it all to be very inspirational. I was just reminded of why I'm doing this and why I love it. And I loved hearing from these long-time professionals just re-iterating all the same things I tell myself. These are people that truly love what they're doing and I couldn't have described it all better. It's hard to feel understood when I'm not surrounded by the animation community at SCAD anymore, so being among the AM community now where there are people who understand me and my interests and my motivations, even though I'm back in PA is a relief and I feel grateful to be a part of it. I'm excited to see how Q + A goes tomorrow night. It's so nice for it all to be officially started.
