Chase/Escape WIP: Blocking IV + Professionalism Progress
Another update before splining on my chase/escape. This project has been undoubtedly fun, but all the while challenging.
I think having an narrative has really made it more fun and motivating throughout the process.
I tried putting the animation in spline just to see how it looks and I was pleased to see that it was actually really working.
I of course need to still clean up and offset the torso and arms, but the feet are definitely looking good which was one of my biggest concerns since I already tried to put it in spline last week (TOO EARLY) and it was a mess.
In other news I attended a presentation put on by Blizzard Entertainment yesterday and really got inspired to push my personal projects and think about gameplay animation.
I also applied for an internship that would start next summer, which would be ideal. Not too confident that I will get it especially since my reel is still a work-in-progress and doesn't have too much good work on it or variety, but nonetheless, I can say that I tried and also it gave me an opportunity to clean up my resume and practice writing a cover letter.
I will post my official new reel here that will be the one I'm using for CTN.
I also updated my website. I like the look of it a lot more than what I had before. It's kind of a shame that I paid for a whole year for the domain, but only have had it published for about a month now.
In other, other news, I'm set to start work on another student film this week and I am currently working on UV's for my senior film.
Lots of things to keep me busy and set me in the right direction.
