1 year later... + Blocking Update III

WIP of my Chase/Escape Blocking. I dressed up Stewart and I feel like it's really helping the story and makes the shot look more fun. I am pleased with the progress I've made so far.

It's really hard to believe that 1 year ago from today I was animating my 2D bean bag. It's crazy how in just ONE year I'm doing this kind of animation in Character I. It's not amazing, by any means, but to think at this time last year I had hardly touched Maya or taken any 3D animation class whatsoever. This seriously blows my mind.

It's really encouraging for my own personal growth to look back to see just how far I've come. I know that I still have a long way to go, but I feel like I've made progress. And that is the most uplifting and motivating feeling. In 3D Principles to 3D Production, I learned SO much it was overwhelming. Rigging class too taught me so many useful skills that I'm applying every day when I'm working in Maya.

I am truly grateful for how much I get to learn each quarter that I'm in school and all that I've gained and gotten to take away from each assignment.

I honestly cannot wait to see how far I'll have come 1 year from now.
