Jump WIP: Splining

Splining has been a journey.

It has definitely been the toughest hurdle to finally have it click. I mentioned over break that I definitely got better at understanding the graph editor.

During this assignment though, I feel like I've learned so much more. Even just in the blocking stage. I still can't say I'm completely comfortable with splining quite yet, but blocking this time around was a lot of fun. I felt good with my results by the second blocking pass and it felt more like I was creating art rather than trying to figure out how to use Maya.

It's that moment where things just start to click and it becomes enjoyable and more natural. The point where you don't have to think about "how to" rather "what to". I think, "What can I do with this? How do I want to his to look?" Maya becomes more of a playground rather than a scary death obstacle course.

This will be finalized Wednesday.
