1 Shot, 3 Genres

This assignment was interesting. We had to draw the same scene 3 times, but each shot in a different genre.

We had to make one comedy, drama, and horror/mystery.

Following cinematography and filming methods would determine how the shot would be designed.

On critique day the class would have to guess what genre we were going for. Everyone guessed mine pretty easily, which was good because that means I understood the design.

Comedy is very flat, drama is more angled and has more shadow, and horror has dutch angles and extremely dramatic light and shadow.

My drawing still suffers, and I can’t color/paint in PS well for the life of me,but this was a fun assignment. And it really made me realize how long it's been since I've really sat down and drawn in Photoshop.
