Sit, Stand, Run WIP: Blocking Round 3 + Setbacks

So just a quick update. I finished blocking this thing out and I'm going to jump right into splining.

I would've had this part done sooner if it wasn't for my computer keyboard dying on me. So long story short: the keyboard of my laptop stopped responding midst animating. I had literally just keyed and frame and went to CTRL+Z and suddenly it just didn't do anything.

I had first thought it was just Maya so I saved and closed out of it manually but then I realized that nothing was typing at all. None of the keys were working. So after restarting, factory restoring the computer and a large number of other methods, I had concluded that it was broken and would need outside help. Thankfully I'm able to use an external keyboard in the mean time.

Fortunately, I still have the warranty on this computer (I mean, it hasn't even been a year and this is happening). So I'm going to send it in right before I head back to school and just work in the lab for the time being. I thought about having it wait until summer and just use my external, but since I got a response from the company, it seems like I might as well send it in. But before I do that I was hoping to at least finish this project in the short 2 weeks I have left of winter break. A bit of a setback, but I still do have time.

It's just a shame that this happened now. But what can you do... It could very well be a lot worse. All my files are safe and backed up. And the good news is, if I send the computer back before I go, then I won't have to carry the laptop on the plane which is sure nice.
