Lookin' Spline
This was my attempt at splining for the first time. I open up the graph editor and I still have no idea what I'm doing. I'm overwhelmed by the controls. I was finally just getting the hang of it in AE and I understand that this shouldn't be any different.
But every single translate, rotate, and scale has it's own x, y, z, and on each individual control for every body part. It's a little overwhelming. I'm taking note on pro advice and more tutorials to make the whole thing less intimidating. I mean to break it down to just animating a cube, the graph editor isn't so bad.
I think I need to take a step away from the big picture of all these little parts and just focus in on the pieces individually. Again, I need more patience.
I think once I'm able to wrap my head around it all and not feel dizzy looking at all these different points and curves, that I'll be able to focus and patiently work with all of it.
But this is just the first run. I'm going to try breaking it down some more tomorrow. I see some weird twitchy stuff happening with the arms at the end especially. Also, maybe some of it is the change of camera angle, but his whole walk just looks sorta wonky now.. ^^; could be worse I suppose.
I think maybe now, I should shift gears to modeling again for a (kinda) break.
