Not gonna lie, I feel pretty proud of myself for not giving into the frustration of getting this thing set up. I realize this isn't that hard to set up. It's really just following instructions via tutorial and you're good. Nonetheless I'm happy. It's the little successes in life, ya know?

I got the picker set up and found the correct file. Since the move to the new computer, I had multiple copies of the rig which made Maya confused. But I got it working and linked with the picker and it all works: the outfits, the controls; everything.

I've never rendered anything I've done with Malcolm before so I was surprised at how glossy he was. I'll also need to adjust lighting with his luminescent eyes.

AnimSchool's Malcolm is supposed to be the number one rig out there to use right now for students. At least, that's what everyone's using at school.

It's also really nice having an attractive rig. A lot of these free rigs you can get are kinda hard-to-look-at.

But yea. I figured I would mark this down for my personal record. I'm really excited to start really animating.

Malcolm, I look forward to working with you.
