The Backseat of your Toaster + First Tut of the Summer

So not by any means a great 3D model. I could definitely do better now. This was something I started winter quarter. But I just decided to finish it now. I re-textured the toast so that's something.
Additionally, just wanted to put it on the record, that I kept my word and despite needing to go out all day, I came back, exhausted, and still began to watch and take notes on my first tutorial of the summer. I'm doing Maya 2017 Essential Training and diving into the Animation section.
I'm trying to pretend I'm still in school where I'm doing 3D animation on M/W and Modeling on T/H. Fridays I'll look at C4D. I'm honestly just trying to get a feel for all this right now. I want to make a consistent schedule, but I am uncertain of what actually works and what doesn't. There's going to be a lot trial and error these first couple of weeks or even month and I'm anticipating that and trying to not let it catch me off guard or frustrate me.
I'm doing all that I can. And I'm going to gain something out of it. As long as I'm doing nothing, I'm fine. Maybe your swimming isn't incredible, but as long as you keep moving to stay afloat, then you will survive.
cheesy...
I'm happy to say that I took the photo for the toast texture myself. I feel like I should have varied them now that I'm looking at it, but that's OK.
I'm not too serious about this one.
Some other modeling goals I'm considering:
-quadruped
-Maneki Neko
-my cover photo
-umbrella
-shoes
