Motion PSA Complete
Here's my finished PSA project for MOME class. I definitely don't think it's my strongest piece of animation ever. There are a lot of things I feel like could have definitely been cleaned up and cared for more.
This is my own fault. I decided to move on to other projects after finishing it. It's always unfortunate when you get the bare minimum done on a project and then need to move onto the next thing because of deadlines when those last final touches are going to be what makes it look actually GOOD. Making the animation look smooth and crisp and snappy.
But again, this is my own fault. Because for one, I only needed to make this thing 30 seconds long. I really need to work on making the project shorter for the sake of having more time to make it look good. Quality comes before quantity. Especially when you're a student.
I feel like as young animataters we are all so focused on following our idols and wanting to create beautiful storytelling. Because everyone would prefer a good story over explosions in a film any day. However, at this point in our lives, it's best to focus on making the aesthetically pleasing work that will get us the job to tell an amazing story.
This is something I have to keep reminding myself: your sole purpose at this time is to make stuff look good. Stop focusing on the complexity of the message.
Granted, the message isn't even conveyed that well in this thing. But you can't win them all. Time to move on.
